This past weekend we met up with my parents in Atlanta for shopping and baseball! It rained all afternoon on Saturday... which was fine with me, as I spent hours shopping in Ikea, while the rest of the family had to follow me around. Then the clouds parted just in time for the Braves game that night. It seriously could not have been a more perfect evening... well temperature wise, playing wise, the Braves did not do so well. Regardless of the very sad score (12-0) we had a great time at the ballpark!
Here we all are - early for the game! GPS got us there a lot faster than we thought it would take!
grandma and granddaddy gave Liam Toby (from Thomas the train).. and of course Liam wouldn't let us leave Toby behind... so Toby got to enjoy the game as well.
Liam did better than we could have dreamed! He LOVED the game... he watched and he cheered. Everytime the crowd cheered he was right there with them!
By the end of the night he had figured out CHARGE!
2 hours past bedtime.. he was a bit sleepy... resting on grandma.
Liam and granddaddy found a fountain to play in.

Mother's Day
I am a little behind on blogging. Last weekend Teri and Jon came for Mother's Day. This past weekend we spent in Atlanta with my mom and dad. So, first I shall document the first weekend then tomorrow I will document the second weekend. Basically I will be showing you how Liam was spoiled rotten for the past two weeks!
First ride on the train at Opry Mills... until now Pol and I haven't let Liam know that he can actually get on the train... thanks Grandma and Popo Jon for showing him otherwise!

Car Bed
I have been searching for a car bed for Liam. The boy loves cars, trains, trucks... really anything with wheels. So being the mother I am, I feel like he NEEDS a car bed. But there is also a problem.. I am cheap. So I could not bring myself to walk into Toys R Us and pay full price for a silly car bed. FINALLY I found this brand new Step 2 car bed on craigslist! A friend had told me this was a good bed to get because it can start out as a toddler bed but then become a twin bed, so you aren't wasting your money on something he will outgrow in 2 yrs. Pol and Rob went and picked up Liam's new bed yesterday. From the moment they brought it into the house Liam was in love. He went to bed so easy last night! I was actually afraid he would only play in bed and never sleep. But he went to sleep pretty quickly, so no issues there! I am happy with the purchase! and I think little man is too!
Liam when the bed arrived... and yes, we allow him to play with our spices (see his right hand)... the drawer is the right height for him and he likes to yank different spices out. We will randomly find jars all over the house. and trusty Thomas is usually in his other hand.
Here he is sound asleep... guess he didn't realize it might be more comfortable to sleep the other way... We haven't put all the cool race car stickers on it yet.. but they are coming.
Pictures of the weekend with Pol's mom and Jon coming soon!
