Opening Day

For those who may not be in the know... Baseball's opening day is today.

L can hit the ball pretty well, if I do brag so myself. And I do. After he makes a hit he likes to roar like a dragon.. well, he likes to roar like a dragon after everything, but it's especially cute after hitting a baseball (actually, that might be the only time it's cute anymore). I think he does it because he wants to make sure he has a cool nickname.

I present to you future Atlanta Braves player, Dragon Buckingham:

ps. I tried a new feature in imovie... that is why it's edited so weird. I don't love it, but whatever, it's what I used, so you will like have to like it.

Hardworking Irish boy

L cleaned out Pol's shop to earn some green milk. You would have thought he found a pot of gold.. or in this case, sawdust.

If you need someone to take sawdust from one place to another, we will rent L out.

He really was having a blast helping his daddy out, but it was a serious job, no smiling allowed (plus, if you smiled you might get a mouth full of sawdust).

Importance of Friends

Sometimes you need a friend to sleep with his hand on your face.

(They are honest to goodness sound asleep in this photo)

And sometimes you need a friend to take your hand and go down a slide with you.

(yes, it's very blurry as they were going very fast. Also, in case you are like L's grandmas and worried that an older woman is taking their grandson's heart... no cause for alarm, she is his age and shorter than him, she just looks taller here because he is further down the slide. He is the one in the orange shirt and not the blue dress, in case you were worried.)

Knights vs Dragons

Pol played a show on Saturday night, one that L could actually go watch (read as: it was a show not in a bar or at midnight). As Pol was getting ready to play L asked me the following questions:
Is he going to play a song about a DRAGON?
Is he going to sing about knights?
Is he going to sing about castles?
Is he going to sing about dinosaurs?
What else could he sing about?

Obviously... all other subjects are not song worthy in a 3 yr old boy's mind.

Where have you been?

Hello me, where have you been?
I have been tired.
Been busy.
Been stressed.
Been relying on the Lord.
Been trying to figure out what that means.
Been relaxing.
Been watching my boy turn into a dragon.
Been thinking been is a weird word.

And lately... I have been in CA.
